With inmproving Indian economy, these tourist spots are flooded with tourists during the peak holiday seasons. Places like Goa & Udaipur are hot spots for tourists from all over India as well as hoards of tourist from all over Europe trying to escape the cold winters. Hotels in Goa were selling at about 250% above their regular tariff. For example, Delta Residency, a mid range budget hotels in Calangute, Goa was selling for a price range of Rs. 8000-12000 (regular season tariff is about Rs. 2400). Similarly, hotels in Shimla had a premium of about 100%. And the same with over 20+ top tourist destinations across India.
