Special notes: Bhubaneswar is one of the least expensive cities in India. Accommodation in Bhubaneswar is priced accordingly. However it is catching up with the rest of the Indian cities. Prices are much higher particularly during peak seasons such as Christmas/New Year period, during major Indian holidays including Diwali and Durga Puja. It is also difficult to find a good place to stay in Bhubaneswar during certain major conferences which happens more often now than ever before. So book early to get a good price and a room in a well rated hotel.
